Have you ever wondered what it must have been like to be amongst the ten thousand spectators inside a sweltering hot pavilion
at the National Eisteddfod of Wales as the Treorchy Male Choir walked on stage to
give another thrilling performance?
Can you image the sheer excitement of
hearing those melodious voices ring out
across the marquee, capturing the hearts, minds and souls of audience and adjudicator alike?
The Treorchy Male Choir has a proud history
of competition success at all levels of the eisteddfod, but the thrill of winning a national title was unfathomable. With eight first prizes out of eleven entries, the post war Choir achieved unparalleled success.
Thanks to a selection of live recordings
you can now relive those moments of glory
by listening to just a small selection from the National Eisteddfod. |
