Cornwall 2017
29th/30th September 2017
Our second tour of Cornwall the first being in June 1st/2nd 1968. The 63 choristers all resided at the Trevithick Inn at Cambourne for our weekend tour of Cornwall for the two days.
Our first concert of the tour was on Friday 29th September at Truro Methodist Church,Union Place with the Marazion Apollo Male Choir singing to an audience of 150 people.

The following morning the choristers had a day trip to the Poldark Mine & Heritage Complex Helston, The tour was given free by Mine Official Dave Edwards,in appreciation of his generosity the choir sang ''Men of Harlech'' on the green.

A guided tour was given en gratis by mine owner Dave Edwards and in appreciation of his generosity the choir sang ''Men of Harlech'' on the green. Which was warm applauded by the other mines visitors.Â
Afterwards it was on to a short stay at Falmouth for refreshments before making our way back to our hotel at Cambourne to change and then board the coach for our second concert at Chapel Street Methodist Church, Penzance to join in concert with the Penzance Orpheus Ladies Choir.Â
Presentations of our choir plaque were made by Treorchy Male Choir Chairman David Bebb to Alun Howells secretary of Marazion Apollo Male Voice Choir and Sue Howells secretary of Penzance Orpheus Ladies Choir (Husband and Wife).Another chapter in the ongoing history of the world famous Treorchy Male Choir.
